Liz Cardenas: A Different Outlook On Fashion

A young Latino designer, Liz Cardenas represents a perfect marriage of ethical concern and esthetical quest. Liz Cardenas is one of the most popular designers of her generation. Between 2000 and 2002, she has been acclaimed by the American fashion press as one of the ten most talented Latino designers. She’s also successfully presented her clothing and accessories collection in Miami, Madrid, Paris…

Even with this very successful beginning Liz Cardenas hasn't forgotten her roots and she's still very involved with South America development issues. For example, she's currently working with Equator's native communities. She explains that her creations are very much inspired by their culture.
